2009 Inlet Cup Gallery

Thanks to all of the Shark’s Tooth and Camp Creek members for participating in this year’s Inlet Cup. The event has sparked interest from members from both clubs. The event is a Ryder Cup style format, which has become one of our most exciting formats of the year, uniting members from both clubs as a team. This event has created a friendly rivalry between the two clubs and memberships, where the two teams compete for the covenant “Inlet Cup”.

The event started Thursday night with a pairings party at the Watersound Beach Club, where we had a beautiful night and a lot of fun during that reception. During that evening the captains from both clubs announced the matches for both days, which was a highly anticipated time for everyone involved in the tournament. On Friday the better ball matches were played at Camp Creek. Saturday we had our second round of matches, which were individual match play matches at Shark’s Tooth. After the matches at Shark’s Tooth, we concluded the event with our awards reception in the clubhouse.

Shark’s Tooth Golf Club came away with the victory this year 12-6 over Camp Creek and retained the Inlet Cup for the second year in a row. We look forward to the continued participation in this event, and again want to thank all of you who played this year.
